
Do you get tired of having your scope fog up just when you need it most ? Try polishing your lenses with a small amount of glycerine. Glycerine is available at most drug stores, doesn't cost much, and a little goes a long way. Carefully clean the lenses first, then apply the glycerine while polishing.
To keep your eyeglasses from fogging up, on you, from body heat. I coat my glasses with anti-fog paste that is used on scuba diving masks. It can be picked up at your local dive shop or sporting department. You can also find anti fog eyeglass products at snow skiing shops. This also works on scopes and other optics.
When rifle hunting try keeping your scope covers on your scope until you are ready to shoot, especially in wet and snowy weather. It may take a little more time to get ready for a shot, but you will be able to see your target through you scope! You can also get see through scope covers that are great for that quick shot.
Use binoculars when looking for game, don't use your scope. If you are using your scope when looking for game, you will inevitably see another hunter in your scope. If you have ever seen a hunter checking you out with their scope, it is not a good feeling.
